Why we built this
Holiday home rental in the UK has always been personal. Owners know their property better than any agent. Guests want to talk to the person who actually owns the place. A static caravan in Cornwall, a barn conversion in the Dales, a glamping pod in the Brecon Beacons — each one has a story the owner can tell and an agent never could.
Most platforms charge commission on every booking. They take a cut from the owner and add a fee on top for the guest. The owner sees less of each booking. The guest pays more than the owner asked for. Neither side benefits.
RYHH is a directory, not a marketplace. Owners list their property. Guests find it. They sort it out together. We charge owners a flat subscription and never touch a booking.
