1. About this service
Rent Your Holiday Home Ltd (“RYHH”, “we”, “us”) operates rentyourholidayhome.co.uk. We provide a directory that connects people looking to rent UK holiday properties (“guests”) with property owners (“homeowners”). We are not a party to any booking or rental agreement between guests and homeowners.
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or over to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Notify us at hello@rentyourholidayhome.co.uk if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. For guests
Guests may search listings and submit booking requests at no charge. Submitting a request does not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when the homeowner accepts and you agree on payment. RYHH is not responsible for the terms of any rental agreement, cancellation policy, or payment dispute between you and the homeowner.
4. For homeowners
Homeowners must pay a subscription (annual or monthly) to list a property. Each subscription covers one property listing. You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing, including photos, descriptions, amenities, and pricing. You must have the legal right to rent the property. RYHH may remove listings that violate these terms or are inaccurate.
5. Payments
RYHH charges homeowners a subscription fee processed through Stripe. RYHH does not process, hold, or guarantee payments between guests and homeowners. Any payment disputes are between the guest and homeowner.
6. Reviews
Guests may submit a review after a confirmed, completed stay. Reviews are moderated before going live. RYHH may decline to publish or remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or irrelevant to the stay.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the platform to post false or misleading information, harass other users, circumvent the subscription model (for example, by directing guests to book through a competing platform after making initial contact through RYHH), or engage in any unlawful activity.
8. Intellectual property
Content you upload (photos, descriptions) remains yours. By uploading it, you grant RYHH a licence to display it on the platform. RYHH’s own content — including the software, design, and copy — is owned by Rent Your Holiday Home Ltd.
9. Liability
RYHH operates as a directory and introduction service. We do not inspect properties, verify ownership, or guarantee any booking. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
